Raised by a single Mom, and encouraged by his grandfather to be the “man of the house”, Jackson struggles at a young age with understanding how to properly stand up for his little sister and other kids in his class. After he’s suspended for fighting on the playground, his mother decides to enroll him in boxing lessons at the local gym. Here he meets Coach, and starts to learn the value of discipline, hard work, and dedication. But, as Jackson gets older and strong, he finds it harder to keep his temper in check outside of the ring.
