Bronwyn Carradine

Bronwyn Carradine (she/her) is a queer playwright, theatre creator and administrator currently based on the unceded lands of the xwməθkwəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, and səl̓ílwətaʔ/selilwitulh Nations.

As a young writer, her poems and short stories were published in magazines and included in two of the Young Writers of Canada anthologies. At 16, she left the small farming town she was raised in and found herself moving across North America, living on couches, in cars and backyard sheds, and taking artistic opportunities as they came. Her theatrical works have been developed, workshopped, and produced by many of Canada’s top theatres. She currently has plays in development with Arts Club Theatre Company, Carousel Theatre for Young People and Zee Zee Theatre Company.

She’s a graduate of Studio 58 and is currently part of the Arts Club Theatre Company’s Playwright’s Residency Program. She runs Zee Zee Theatre Company with Cameron Mackenzie.

When she’s not in the theatre, you can find her running through the mountains of BC, or on the couch watching Below Deck with her partner and their cat.
